Zlatan is a good player not only scoring but also as a team player. For example, he has the same goal assists than Alves.

    Actually, for the record:
Zlatan and Torres has practically identical “production” in CL for the last 3 seasons.
    Zlatan – 7 in 20.
Torres – 8 in 23 (6 of these in his “crazy” season 2007-08).

    OK, so let’s recap.
You: “Zlatan does not produce anything in Champions League, like Torres.”
Me: “Eh, Torres does NOT produce anything in Champions League (note: present tense). He is still a world class player though, like Zlatan.”
You: “No but Torres delivers in Champions League. By the way, I have not read a single word of what you just wrote.”

No but he delivers in the Champions League. Ibra doesn’t.

    End of.

Barca has “World Class” players on every position, if that label is supposed to mean anything.
Zlatan was the top scorer in Serie A last season. 25 goals in 35 appearances for Inter. 10 goals and 4 assists in 12 games so far this season. As for your prime example Torres, what has he produced in CL lately? N-A-D-A. But does that make him any less of a player? Of course not.

I’ll admit, he has had a good season so far and DID score against Madrid but one goal doesn’t change anything. I still don’t see him producing in the Champions Leauge, he’s an amazing player but not World Class in my opinion.

Zlatan’s murder volley in his first El Clásico should put an end to this debate…

Pure GENIOUS!..i miss you so much, please come basck to INTER….i still cant beleive HE is gone…with the swoop for Eto’o we are at least 50% in the negative,Eto’o will never shine by him self and only woth Sneijder, but Ibra was dominating Seria A alone, pls man pls come back.:D

Let me get this straight, Ibra him a brilliant player but I see him as overrated, people dub him as world class, but what makes a player world class is their ability to bring their A game to another world class team, I haven’t seen that in him yet, world class strikers like Torres do perform in the big stages, when Ibra does, i’ll rate him.

zlatan have done better in barca than eto so far. Zlatan is also in a bad national team, hard for him to ‘shine’ like torres and kaka and them when they got a good national team. And he played also in Inter (Italian football is the most deffensive)so lets see now after he have been in barca a while so he know barca style a little better. then we can see if you can call him overrated or not. inter had not won the league in many years before they bought ibra, when he was there they won everything

No, but if you play up front for the best team in the world, you’re bound to get goals, it’s the whole overall performance is what makes a great performer, not to mention I haven’t seen him deliver against the big teams still. He’s a brilliant player but for me, overrated. I’d have Eto’o over Ibra anyday.

on zlatans 5 first league matches.. he played 4,5 because he was injured.. on 4,5 matches he scored 5 goals and had 2 assists.. is that bad :P?
